1968 Roadster:


Engine: 225 cu. in V-6 (Rebored to +.020in, Edelbrok manifold with Holly 350 CFM Carb, Custom stainless steel headers.)

Powertrain: 3-spd (T-14A) with 12'' Chevy truck clutch (rod linkage), Model 20 transfer case, Dana 33 axles, Detroit Locker rear positraction, front disc brakes.

Suspension: Custom leaf spring, (6-leaf front 7-leaf rear), stock shackles. Frame reinforced with 2"x4" tubular steel "cage" and crossbar for roll-bar reinforcement, steering damper.

Wheels: 10" painted mags with Kelly Springfield radials

Other extras:

Body: Roll bar, 10 guauge floor and wheel wells, stainless steel rocker panels, chrome window trim, front bumper cut down from IH semi, rear bumper from 123 Mercedes, Meyers 6' hydraulic snow blade, class III trailer hitch, 1 ton winch.

Interior: Electric seats from Ford LTD, cruise control, quad stereo, guage cluster, 10 guage steel console, rear auxillary heater, custom wiring with a real fusebox!

Miscellaneous: Bosch charging system (from Mercedes), electric fuel pump, stainless hood latches, CB radio, side spare mount, 16' dual axle trailer for all the times it breaks down!
These images show removal of the side panels. The body was reconstructed on the frame.The body was then removed and the frame was reinforced and along with the body was srtipped electrolytically, painted then reassembled.


Ten guage steel wheel wells were custom fabicated.

Ten guage steel new floor. All new metal was seam welded on both sides to prevent rust. It took four spools of .032 wire for the welding.

Off to the painters for the final finish.


Engine was rebuilt again.

Custom leaf springs were built to support the snow plow and 800 extra pounds of metal welded into the body and frame.

Custom wiring job in progress.

Present state of restoration. Should be done this summer I hope.
