This patient had a long-standing gastric reflux which allowed stomach acid to disolve the teeth. This allowed the teeth to wear down to approximately half their normal height. As is typical in these cases, the lower front teeth were only slightly affected.

In order to prevent further erosion and replace the lost tooth structure, it was decided to place crowns on all of the upper teeth except the second molars and crown the lower back teeth except the second molars.Porcelain veneers were made over the lower canine teeth. The entire treatment was accomplished in two visits.
